Special Teams, St. Xavier University
Coach Flynn has coached football for 17 seasons. He started his coaching career at the high school level for 12 seasons, primarily working as a special team’s coordinator, wide receiver coach, and defensive backs coach. In 2016, Coach Flynn joined the Saint Xavier University coaching staff as the defensive backs and special team’s coach. Currently, Coach Flynn is entering his 4th season at Saint Xavier University where he will coach the wide receivers and the special teams.
Since joining the Saint Xavier University coaching staff, Coach Flynn's kickers and punters have earned numerous Player of the Week nominations as well as numerous all-conference awards. In addition, Coach Flynn has traveled across the country meeting with numerous high school, college, and professional special team’s coaches to learn the intricacies of special teams. During the off-season, Coach Flynn spends countless hours speaking at clinics and hosting Zoom meetings about special teams.
